Sick, sick, sick

Yesterday I had the worst of the cold and it looks like Gwenny's is ramping up today. I think she'll be worse tomorrow, just in time for A Day Out with Thomas. Sigh. I'm not sure what we're going to do about that yet. This afternoon we're going to have to miss a friend's birthday party, but Gwenny is taking it well. She's delighted with the proclamation that she is sick, since she doesn't feel anything more than a cough and a slightly sore throat yet. Little does she know what is to come. :( Maybe Gwenny won't get it as bad as I did and will make a full recovery by tomorrow morning? One can hope!

My father-in-law had one surgery yesterday which went as well as we could have hoped and has another one late next week. Hopefully the results from this morning's surgery will be as positive as we think when we get them back early next week.

I've just become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and have been inspired to make handmade cards for all the occasions for which I would have previously bought one. I'm having a lot of fun and getting to know the Stampin' Up! products better while figuring out which products that I already have work well with them. I have yet to do a scrapbook page with Stampin' Up! products, so stay tuned!
